Krispen Spencer (Art)

"At the beginning of each painting session, I am reminded of a quote from Martha Graham, the famous dancer and choreographer. 'Living is a form of not being sure, not knowing what next or how. The moment you know how, you begin to die a little. The artist never knows. We guess. We may be wrong, but we take leap after leap in the dark.'

During the intuitive first stages of my painting process, which involves the pouring of premixed acrylic paints, images may appear and then disappear, as a singular shape gives birth to another, or as two colors become a third", Krispen Spencer in reference to her Painting Process.

The last picture is of her with her work. It's quite fascinating and you could just get lost in it.

Behati Prinsloo (Photography)

I love how her photography is black and white, it's so cool, just like her.
A lot of her shots are taken in Haiti, a place I want to visit in the future.
It would be really cool if one day we could take photos together :)
All Photos taken from Behati's blog. Check them all out!

Jim Jocoy (photography)

Anything to do with punk is sick, Jim Jocoy photographed them all...
All photos are from the book, We're Desperate: The Punk Rock Photography of Jim Jocoy

Kelsey Brookes (Art)

His work is mind blowing!!!!!!!! The first five snaps are from his official site and the last five are from his blog. He is from San Diego, California and likes long walks on the beach, getting caught in the rain... just kidding, but he does live in San Diego and his work has been shown in art fairs, group shows, plenty of magazines (like; GQ, Modern Painters, Juxtapox, Dazed and Confused and more).

Check it out or you WILL regret it!

As this is the first official post of this blog, we'll give you the run down...
If you've come to see stick thin models, that's not what you're going to get; Art and Photography strictly! And maybe some music.
